Pregnant and Need

STI Testing?

If you are pregnant or considering abortion,

it is important to get tested.

SCHEDULE FREE STI TESTING

If you are pregnant and considering your options, we can provide free STI testing and treatment.

If you are pregnant or thinking about an abortion you need to be tested for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

Many STIs do not show symptoms, that’s why it’s important to get tested.

Free STI Testing and Treatment

For pregnant women, we offer free STI testing to screen for two of the most common and treatable STIs, chlamydia and gonorrhea.  Upon your visit, you will receive a customized follow-up plan that includes referrals as needed. If needed we will book a follow-up appointment to go over your STI test results and treatment.

What if I’m considering an abortion? Do I need to be tested for STIs?

Having an abortion with an undetected and untreated STI can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), which can cause lifelong damage to your reproductive organs, future ectopic pregnancies, or infertility [1].

It’s important to get tested before scheduling an abortion.

Common STI Questions

According to the CDC, all women who are pregnant should be tested for syphilis, HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C early on in pregnancy. Those who are at risk of infection should be tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea early on in pregnancy.

How much is an STD/STI test?

Depending on location, testing needed, and insurance coverage, STD testing can cost up to $400.
